Family picnic for Postdocs – May 20th, 2017 – 2 to 5 pm

As McGill postdocs we want to celebrate the end of the cold winter by enjoying a social afternoon at one of the most emblematic open spaces in the city of Montreal: Parc Lafontaine.

We are inviting all postdocs and their families to join us in for a fun Saturday afternoon. Food, drinks and children activities will be provided.

North American academic system workshop – January 31, 2017

Lorna MacEachern from Career & Planning Services (CaPS) will give a presentation on the North American academic system. The 411 on the North American university system” workshop is intended to introduce international postdoctoral fellows to basic aspects of the university system here with a specific focus on the academic job market, including the general hiring process. 

The event will take place in the basement of the Thompson House on January 31, 2017 @ 5:30PM

Snacks will be provided.
